2025 Public Information Session in Jefferson Parish

Your child may be eligible for up to $4,950 in tuition assistance to the private K-12 school of your choice. 

Learn more about K-12 private school scholarships from Arete Scholars at our Public Information Session on February 20th, 2025, at the East Bank Regional Library in Metairie. This event is a wonderful opportunity for you to learn more about our scholarship program which has been serving children in economically disadvantaged families in Louisiana since 2013.

During the Public Information Session, you will have the chance to meet with Arete’s dedicated team and ask questions about eligibility. You will also have the opportunity to ask questions and learn more about our mission and services.

About Our Scholarship Our Scholarship Program

Maximum scholarship amounts: $4,400 for grades K-8; or $4,950 for grades 9-12.

Application period: February 25, 2025–May 31, 2025 (or until we receive 4,000 applications, whichever comes first

To be eligible for a scholarship in Louisiana, a student must meet the following income, residency, and prior school year requirements.

  1. Louisiana resident, AND
  2. Attended a public school in Louisiana on October 1 & February 1 of the 2024-25 school year, OR
  3. Entering kindergarten in 2025-26, OR
  4. Received a TDC or Louisiana Scholarship Program award in 2024-25, AND
  5. Family income less than the following maximum amounts:

Applications are first-come, first-served, with priority given to returning students, and students using the Louisiana Scholarship Program Scholarship. An application does not guarantee a scholarship.
