A Heartwarming Night with Arete Families at the Atlanta Gladiators Game
On Sunday, the Atlanta Gladiators and our generous friends at Gas South gifted 19 Arete families an unforgettable evening at Gas South Arena. It wasn’t just about hockey but about connection, joy, and building memories that will last a lifetime.
With tickets to the Gladiators' thrilling game against the Greenville Swamp Rabbits, families from six of our partner schools gathered under one roof. For many, it was their very first time experiencing the fast-paced excitement of a hockey game. The buzz of the crowd, the thrill of each goal, and the warm camaraderie made the night magical.
But what stood out most wasn’t just the action on the ice, it was the laughter shared in the stands, the bonds formed among families, and the sense of unity that filled the arena. These moments reminded us of the deeper mission we share, build community, and create opportunities for our families to thrive and connect.
For most of the children, this was their first hockey game, and the excitement on their faces as they watched was pure joy.
One parent expressed her heartfelt gratitude for sharing this event with her daughter, saying, “This is what childhood looks like. Thank you for this experience.”
Another parent shared his appreciation for Arete, saying, “I could never have created this experience for my son and me on my own. Thank you.”
We are incredibly thankful to Gas South and the Atlanta Gladiators for making this day possible. Your kindness and continued support mean the world to our students and their families. Events like this are more than just fun outings, they’re opportunities to uplift and strengthen the ties that bind us together.
This evening was a beautiful example of what can happen when we come together to celebrate and support our shared community. We’re already looking forward to creating more joyful experiences in the future!
