This work we have been called to at Arete Scholars is a joy and a gift. We are grateful today and every day for those who make it possible, for the many who make our lives rich. Here are just a few reasons for our team to be thankful this season.

We are thankful for the more the thousands of kids and their families in Georgia and Louisiana who have allowed us to join them in their educational journey since 2010. They are why we do what we do.

We are thankful to live and work in two states where educational quality need not be limited by zip codes, family income, race, or status.

We are thankful for nearly 300 partnering schools that are committed to delivering an excellent education to our scholars.

We are thankful for new dreams, the discovery of new talents, and new opportunities to cultivate them.

We are thankful for teachers who pour so much of themselves into our children – dispensing knowledge, wisdom, and love for learning.

We are thankful for our community partners – the individual supporters, corporations, and foundations whose radical generosity is transforming lives today and for generations to come.

We are thankful for the lawmakers, policy experts, lobbyists, and advocates who place the best interests of children above their own.

We are thankful for the inspiring stories of success, achievement, and hope that stream into our office every week. They are our reward.

We are thankful for the Georgia Tax Credit Scholarship Program and the Louisiana Tuition Donation Credit Program.

We are thankful for the wonderful work being done by other student scholarship organizations in our states and around the nation. They are helping empower parents throughout our country to choose a school that works best for their children.

We are thankful for a passionate and dedicated team and the leadership of our board.

We are thankful for you. Thank you for joining us in this wonderful and important work of delivering life-giving education and support to under-resourced children and families.
