Scholar Spotlight - Kennedy Watson

Kennedy Watson, a four-year Arete scholarship student, turned challenging new learning opportunities into academic and extracurricular achievement at College Park, Georgia's Woodward Academy. The 2015 graduate and current Howard University freshman tutored local charter school students in math and also founded a nonprofit that provides memorable prom and homecoming experiences to young ladies in need.

"I want to be a pediatrician," said Kennedy. "Because I really like helping and I love kids, so I feel like that's the best fit for me."

Kennedy exemplifies the Arete spirit by striving to reach her greatest potential, while also reaching out to serve those in need.
