2023 Was a Record Year for Arete Scholars

As we begin a new year, the Arete Scholars team extends heartfelt gratitude to our dedicated supporters! Your generosity made 2023 a record year, enabling us to achieve organizational milestones:

• Thanks to our supporters, Arete granted more than 300 additional scholarships in 2023, serving nearly 2,700 students across Georgia and Louisiana, and providing nearly $11.5 million in critical financial assistance over the year.
• In 2023, nearly 100 students like Arete Graduate of the Year Riley Cryer graduated high school and took the next step in their educational journey.
• Last year, Arete seniors achieved a 100% graduation rate!
• Arete experienced tremendous growth, welcoming several new members to our team. 
• In 2023, Arete launched a Community Engagement Department to foster deeper family and school connections and facilitate a lasting difference beyond the classroom.
• We expanded our impact beyond the scholarship through partnerships with organizations such as Studyville and The National WWII Museum. These partnerships enabled us to offer essential resources like ACT test prep and to open doors of opportunity to renowned leadership training.
